President | Academy @ Shawnee PTSA

 I am a proud Shawnee High School alumna, mother of two boys, grandmother of two boys, and a dedicated member of the Golden Eagle family. My youngest son has attended The Academy @ Shawnee since the 6th grade, making my connection to Shawnee even more meaningful.

I began my PTSA journey as Membership Chair. Wanting to become more involved in my son’s school and make a difference, I decided to take the next step and serve as PTSA President.

I'm dependable, caring, and compassionate. I am passionate about building a PTSA that is active, welcoming, and visible within our school and community. Outside of PTSA, I enjoy spending time with my family, having fun, and being a proud basketball mom (hope to see you in the stands this season).

By the end of my term, I hope to have helped our PTSA strengthen its presence and make a meaningful difference for Shawnee students, families, and staff. For me, serving as PTSA President isn’t simply about holding a title—it’s about showing up, getting involved, and making a difference in a place that has been part of both my story and my son’s.
